Acupuncture Awareness Week 25th February – 3rd March 2013
What can Acupuncture do for you?
Acupuncture Awareness Week, aims to educate people about how traditional acupuncture can help improve sleep and aid relaxation. Among the 82% of us who admit to sleeping troubles or insomnia, many of us are missing the point when it comes to this ancient Chinese medicine.
With 2.3 million acupuncture treatments carried out each year, traditional acupuncture is one of the most popular complementary therapies practiced in the UK today. Yet statistics show that 1 in 5 of us would only consider acupuncture for sleep as a last resort. Almost a quarter of people admit they didn’t realise acupuncture could benefit them despite its widely recognised health benefits. If you are suffering from insomnia, acupuncture could be for you.
What can Acupuncture treat?
But acupuncture can treat much more; the World Health Organisation (WHO) has produced a long list of conditions which acupuncture has demonstrable benefit; here are just a few all of which have been proved to be affective by controlled trials and are listed on WHO website.
- Fertility
- Sciatica
- Hay Fever
- Headaches
- Induction of Labour
- Neck Pain
- Back Pain
- Arthritis
- Tennis Elbow
- Depression
- Knee Pain
- Morning sickness
- Postoperative Pain
Special Offers for Acupuncture Awareness Week
To mark this week I am introducing some special offers, there is something for everyone so take a look and see if anything takes your fancy. Appointments are available at Gooseberry Bush Clinic in Merton Park or Garden Clinic in Raynes Park.
Never tried Acupuncture before? Two ways to try.
Free 1/2 hour consultations and taster treatments are available by appointment for anyone who would like to know more about acupuncture and how it can help you.
Half price new patient consultation £30 for 1 ¼ hours during AAW. If you have thought about acupuncture before but never quite got round to taking the plunge, or maybe you had treatment a while ago, why not book in for an initial consultation and first treatment. Book now or during AAW to qualify for the offer but the treatment can be taken outside this time.
Returning for treatment?
Acupuncture Treatment – £30 for 1 hour. If you have had acupuncture with me before, perhaps you have been thinking about a top-up treatment to supplement a recent course of treatments or maybe you would like a rebalance after some time away. Now is the time to book your appointment to take advantage of this offer, for treatments during AAW or the following week.
Facial Enhancement Acupuncture
Facial Enhancement Acupuncture – 20% off – £52 for 1½ hours. Treat yourself to a natural treatment to improve muscle tone, circulation and collagen production. Facial acupuncture is painless and is a great alternative to expensive medical and chemical treatments for combating the inevitable signs of ageing without the risk of invasive surgical procedures. Works best as a course of treatments initially. I am also offering a package of 6 treatments for £310 instead of the usual cost of £360.
