Back pain affects almost all of us at some stage in our lives, and is not only debilitating but also costly. According to the NHS 7.6 million working days were lost due to work related back pain from 2011-12, and it is estimated that back pain costs the UK £1.3m every day.

The National BackCare Association was set up in 1968 with the mission of lessoning the burden of back and neck pain both to the sufferer and the community, it is the largest back care charity in the UK. Acupuncture for Back Pain
Acupuncture has long been used as an effective treatment for back pain of all types , so much so that the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommends a course of acupuncture for non specific back pain.
